Our History
David L. Rockwell and Thomas M. Crane founded the Rockwell Institute ( www.rockwellinstitute.com ) in 1974, in order to provide superior-quality license training to prospective real estate agents in Washington. The Rockwell Institute quickly established itself as the leading source of license preparation courses in the state.
In 1981, David Rockwell branched out into textbook publishing with the same quality-focused approach he used with his live training. Rockwell Publishing's courses, textbooks, and instructor materials are created in-house by a team of some of the best writers (all with legal training), graphic designers, and programmers in the industry. This gives Rockwell a level of control that large publishers don't have, and guarantees that our customers receive both a high-quality product as well as personalized service. Simply put, we are small enough that your input counts.
Rockwell Publishing has always been one step ahead when it comes to providing instructors and students with the most innovative technology in real estate education. Rockwell began developing computer-based courses in 1994 and became one of the first companies to offer real estate courses online. Today, Rockwell's online courses are the best available in the real estate industry. In 2007 alone, more than 33,000 students chose our online courses!
